Local Author Matt Dworak Releases First Book: Public Land Elk Hunting
Hits #1 in Kindle Category for Archery
09/16/2013 (Monday): Local author Matt Dworak released his first book: Public Land Elk Hunting – Helping the Public Land Hunter Become More Successful through Amazon.com and Kindle on August 24, 2013. Within three weeks, the book climbed into the Top 10 Kindle Bestsellers list, hitting #1.
Mr. Dworak seeks to empower local hunters – novice and tenured – within all aspects of hunting, including: basic woodmanship, mountain safety, physical and mental conditioning, shooting (rifle and archery), necessary gear, camping, terrain, scouting, elk tracking, calling, and tactics, just to name a few.
Given the initial response within Mr. Dworak’s electronic book campaign, he now seeks to carry the momentum into the paperback market. Mr. Dworak’s campaign also includes social media, his blog (Thinairoutdoors.com), and reaching out to local hunting and sporting goods stores, clubs, and publications.
Matt Dworak, author of Public Land Elk Hunting, is active in the Colorado archery community and serves as the president of the Fort Collins Archery Association, a life-member of the Colorado Bowhunters Association, as well as many other conservation groups. With over 20-years of elk hunting experience, Mr. Dworak was published in Bowhunters Magazine in August 2012. Matt is a Colorado native and was first introduced to elk hunting as a young child, when he joined his father on his annual elk hunting trips. Father of two young boys and married to the love of his life, Wendy, Mr. Dworak currently resides in Fort Collins, Colorado.
